Isn't there a common scam on craigslist of bikes listed at $2900? I know I read a thread recently about a Sportster that was $2900 and only a couple years old...

Well, we'll see b/c I emailed them just to ask why....I really want all that aftermarket stuff then sell the bike again after trAnsferring all my stock parts LOL.

smells like a scam to me...I received an email back, here's what he said
Hi,
*There are 11720 miles on it, the bike is in great condition, it has been properly maintained, never been dropped or abused in any way. It has clear title and the price I'm selling it for is $2900, which is including all the shipping charges.
*I live in Bloomington but currently I am with work in UK, London for the next approximately 7 months. Anyway, there shouldn't be any problem, because I am using MoneyBookers services so I can sell the bike without difficulty.
*I left the bike at their warehouse before leaving to the UK. They will take care of the delivery. There's a 14 days return policy so you will have the chance to test, inspect and ride it before final decision.

Yes, this is a scam. And it's always the same. Left the bike with a broker. So, how many of us would do that with anything we wanted?

And then try to sell it on our own, not use the broker.
