Wow! That was a gentle reminder to keep our eyes peeled at all times, even when we are stopped at a red light. Thanks for sharing!

Wow that sucks. Makes me want to avoid intersections.
The bad part is a lot of those could have been avoided after the running the light with a bit of common sense. When I was learning to drive my Dad told me that right of way doesn't matter, it still hurts and gross tonnage always wins. Bottom line, it doesn't matter who has the right of way, avoid the crash.
But I gotta say that was some mad skillz that activity bus driver showed. Full drift to threading the needle and not touching a thing? You'd almost think that was staged!

That bus driver definitely had "mad skills".
I liked the guy (play time 2:50) that was crossing the road and was aware of what he was doing to stop and let the car running the red to pass, or else he would have been a grease spot on the road!
How about the car (play time 3:07) in Westminster & Harbor blvd. that threaded thru a busy section almost clearing many vehicles.
Crazy stuff…

the two fire trucks killed me. the activity bus has to be staged. it was empty. atfirst i thought WTF those kids have to be freaked, then i saw there wasn't any. whew. that video made me really appreciate winding roads without intersections.
thats almost as bad as watching some of the motorcycle accident collages. i only say almost because you can guarantee the motorcyclistsgot f'd up.
but damn. i see cars running the red all the time, i just never see them get into accidents. definitely makes me want to wait an extra second or two before the light goes green.
oh and people, remember to watch your mirrors when you're stopped at a light. i've been doing it for years, and now my fears are shown to be factually based. always make sure that car behind you is actually going to stop. i keep it in gear and ready to pull away until theyare stopped behind me.
**** @ 1.43 and.. wow, that last one. You can be the safest driver in the world but you may never see it coming. Stay cautious and alert fellow riders.
Oh and btw, I'm never going to watch a video like that again.

I did that yesterday and found my Red Sox slippers I'd been missing!
There was a little bit of skill in some clips, little bit of luck and a whole lot of stupidity. Some times I'll gun the gas while covering the break in the cage to try to scare people that run reds. It doesn't even phase half the people!

I drive for a living and I see things like this all the time. It really scares me how regularly this happens. I'll admit everyone screws up from time to time and maybe doesn't realize whats going on but seriously people...COME ON! I sometimes feel that a mandatory refresher course should be given every couple years. I mean I have to be certified by the DOT to drive every two years so maybe that could be part of the program. I have a feeling that in a lot of these instances people didn't know the rules of the road and just went for it.
